Direction LOW — below point of aim HIGH — above point of aim

Group is left / right by (inches)

Direction LEFT — of point of aim RIGHT — of point of aim

Measure from the center of your group, not from a single shot, and shoot at least 5 shots from a stable rest. If your group is scattered wider than about 3 inches, fix grip and trigger before touching the optic — adjusting a bad group just moves the scatter.

Unload the gun before any tool touches the optic.

How this works

• MOA is an angle: 1 MOA ≈ 1.047 inches at 100 yards, so it shrinks with distance. At 12.5 yards it's about 0.13 inch.
• MRAD is also an angle: 0.1 MRAD ≈ 0.36 inch at 100 yards.
• Turn toward the center: a group that lands low needs clicks UP; a group that lands left needs clicks RIGHT.
• Most optics move point of impact in the direction marked on the turret. A few mark reticle movement instead — check your manual.
